Hey there! I’m Alex, a Tampa native, multi-instrumentalist, and music educator dedicated to helping students find their own musical voice.

My own musical journey started right at home, playing along on the trumpet to the classic salsa and 70s soul records I grew up listening to. That early, self-taught passion eventually led me to earn a formal music degree from the University of Central Florida. Today, when I'm not teaching, you can find me performing across the Bay Area with local bands like Mr. Whiskers & The 9 Lives, Platinum Nights, and as a founding member of Cigar City Records’ Aliqua.

As a teacher, my biggest goal is to make music accessible, exciting, and deeply rewarding for everyone. I love tailoring my lessons to match each student's unique personality and interests—no matter their age, background, or skill level. Whether your child is picking up an instrument for the very first time or looking to take their skills to the next level, I am here to guide them with patience, encouragement, and a lot of fun along the way.
