Online Music Lessons Kids Love.

Are you interested in signing your child up for private music lessons but live too far away from a great studio? We offer students the opportunity to learn piano, guitar or voice from home and play the music they love.  Weekly, one-on-one instruction taught through secure technology provide a fun and engaging activity that will build confidence as a person and a musician.

How Do Online Music Lessons Work?

Online piano, guitar or voice lessons are available via Zoom. Online lessons are one-on-one video conferencing between the piano/guitar/voice teacher and student via smart phone, tablet, or computer. Both the teacher and student have a piano or guitar that is viewable by the cameras. With this method, the teacher can share their computer screen, share music, interactive games, and of course, lots of music playing or singing time!

What to Expect from Online Music Lessons

  • Hudson Piano Studio teaches beginners, kids through adults. No experience is needed. You will learn to play and sing the music you love and build confidence as a person and a musician.

  • Your teacher will assign songs and specific areas to focus on. Keep track of your lesson assignments and practice time in a notebook!

  • Opportunity for an online piano, guitar or voice concert every spring and fall!

What You Need for Online Music Lessons

  • Reliable internet access

  • A digital device (computer, phone or tablet)

  • Zoom account

  • A parent present for students ages 4-7

  • Music books which will be assigned to you after the first lesson.  

    All materials available on Amazon.

Length:

  • Three options: 30, 45 or 60 minutes weekly

  • Lessons are year-round

Rate:

  • 30 minutes - $150 monthly

  • 45 minutes - $225 monthly

  • 60 minutes - $300 monthly

PIANO LESSONS FOR PRESCHOOLERS

Ages 3-4
Recommended length: 30 minute lesson/week

Ages 5-12
Recommended length: 30-60 minute lesson/week
Private lessons for elementary-age students. Morning and afternoon hours are available.

Age 13-18
Recommended length: 30-60 minute lesson/week
From Mozart to Pop Hits to Jazz Improvisation to Movie Theme Songs - teens will play music they'll love. Teens can also learn chord charts for use in a band or worship setting.

PIANO, GUITAR, VOICE, DRUMS AND UKULELE LESSONS FOR ADULTS

Age 18+
Recommended length: 30-60 minute lesson/week
The great thing about being grown up? You can do what you want to do! If you want to learn how to play piano or guitar, what is stopping you? Whether you’re an absolute beginner or a veteran wanting to explore a new, fresh style of music, lessons geared towards adult learners allow the opportunity to learn to play your instrument by learning the songs you've always wanted to play on the piano or guitar.
